The last couple of years I've been seeing outrageous, bold and colourful faux fur jackets swarming the high street, and this year is no diff. Seeing as I've built up a mini collection of my own I'm not complaining, and thought I'd whack out my all time fave. I found this pink beaut on Asos last year, and saying I've worn it to death would be an understatement. I have a stupidly large collection of coats, and if I'm honest, most of them I don't actually wear. There's only a select few that I regularly reach for, the pink faux fur being one of the chosen ones.

I desperately wanted to pair it with my vinyl skirt, a new addition to my wardrobe; after about 10 wears I've come to the realisation that the zip is actually meant to be worn round the back (the label is sewn in next to the zip). I just automatically assumed it was a front zip as that's how they were all hanging up on the rail, and every other skirt I've seen in this style has a front zip. Anyway, I digress - I was rummaging around for a top to finish the outfit off, and thought pairing yellow with the bright pink could be quite fun? Reminds me of those little fruit salad chewy sweets from yeeeaaarrrsss ago. Remember those? Damn, now I'm craving them.

Ice Watch recently got in touch with me and challenged me to style the new ICE Glam watches up in two different outfits, as part of the #naughtybutnICE campaign. Challenge accepted.

I knew straight away I wanted to pair the white watch up with pretty pastel colours, and dug my pastel pink sweater dress out of the wardrobe. I popped the watch on top of the sleeve, rather than underneath, as I do like the layered look. But you know me, low-key obsessed with the whole grunge style (ok, high-key), so I toughened the look up with some fishnets and super chunky boots.

The black version of the watch goes perfectly with an all black outfit (duh, obviously), however I thought a pop of colour would add a little bit more interest. Enter Primark, and their next level bralette selection. Honestly, they've got the prettiest ones in at the moment, I couldn't resist layering this cute red and blue one underneath my aviator jacket. Add a mesh top to make the outfit more wearable for daytime.

Y'know my personal style contradicts itself so much. I love everything dark coloured, black, grungy, massive chunky boots, ripped jeans, chokers and fishnets. Yet I've got this other side to me that loves pretty pieces, pastel coloured clothes, fluffy shoes, faux fur, pink hair. My two favourite pairs of shoes at the moment are the chunky black boots I'm styling in the white watch outfit, and this amazing pair of fluffy pink platforms I found in Topshop a few weeks back. My coat collection consists of pink faux fur and black studded faux leather. That says it all really. Although, it is fun to mix the two styles together.

Which was your fave look?

Joggers and Heels 3.0

Top - The Ragged Priest (no longer available)
Joggers - Missguided (no longer available)
Chunky Boots - Unif via Depop

You've caught me in joggers and heels again... (see the other two looks here and here).

Aren't they just the most amazing joggers though? I wanted a slim leg, somewhat interesting pair of joggers to wear out and about, so I can be hella comfy but still look a bit of alright. Originally, I was going to get a pair of Adidas joggers. Standard. However, Missguided slayed me once again, and I couldn't say no to this lace up monochrome beaut of a pair. I've honestly never seen a pair of joggers like this before. Jeans and trousers, yes. Joggers, no. Annoyingly, they had sold out of 8's and 10's, so I was forced into getting a 12. Tbf, it doesn't matter too much that they're a bit big, as I can just hoist the waist in.

I thought I'd go head to toe monochome, and whack at my beloved 'Not Interested' tee. I mean, I took these photos a few weeks back when you could still get away with going out in just a tee. Nowadays, I'd probably throw on my Primark aviator jacket, so's not to freeze to death of a chilly Sunday morning.

G O A W A Y

Black Mom Farleigh Jeans - Asos
Boots - Asos (old)
Jeans Chain - eBay

I just realised almost this whole outfit is Asos, oops. So, I met up with my blogger babe Lucy (http://www.ljlv.co.uk) this weekend to shoot some outfits, and did we shoot some outfits. We managed to shoot a grand total of six outfits in under three hours, which I think is pretty goddamn impressive, seeing as we were doing the quick change in the Maccy D's cramped loo's.

I'm loving a casual, comfy, but still put together outfit at the moment, and I think I've hit the nail on the head with that here. Jeans and jumper is a comfy classic. Black mom jeans (with rips at the bum might I add), and a sassy slogan jumper gives a laid back, grungy vibe. Add a couple of accessories like a jeans chain (these are everywhere at the moment) and a funky choker, and you've got yourself a pretty rock n roll outfit. With little effort involved and maximum comfiness.

The Aviator Jacket | Another Bargain Find

london street style, uk fashion blogger, grunge outfit ideas, grunge outfits, grunge blogger, uk fashion blogger, street style blogger, london fashion blogger

Aviator Jacket - Primark
Boots - Unif via Depop

I find Primark very hit and miss, but when it's a hit, it's a hit. Prime example is this Aviator jacket. I wanted one last year, but every high street one I saw was £60+, and I wasn't fancying a splurge. Good thing I didn't in the end, because last weekend I spotted this one in Primark. I'm just gonna go ahead and say, this is probably one of the best pieces I have ever bought from Primark. Purely because the quality of it honestly feels like a £90 one you'd find in Topshop or Urban Outfitters. It's super warm, thick and soft, yet only £30.  It's the steal of the season. If your on the hunt for one of these baby's, I'd say get yaself down to Primark and pick one up before they sell out.

I've gone for a pretty casual outfit. A slogan tee, black mom jeans and my chunky Unif boots. A pretty decent Autumn outfit, I'd say!

The Cosiest Jumper Ever

london street style, uk fashion blogger, grunge outfit ideas, grunge outfits, grunge blogger, uk fashion blogger, street style blogger, london fashion blogger

Fluffy Cropped Jumper - Asos (no longer on site)
Chunky Boots - Unif via Depop

I'm gonna go ahead and say it; I have rediscovered my love of all black outfits. I was absolutely loving wearing colour for the past year or so, but honestly, black is wear my heart lies. The grungey/gothic vibes are to much for me to reject any longer.

So, my most recent fav combo is my ripped bum Asos Farleigh jeans, paired with a jeans chain. Two items I've seen multiple times over on the Gram, and two items I just had to have (naturally). I was after a pair of plain black mom jeans anyway, so when I saw these cheeky things on Asos, I thought I'd just kill two birds with one stone and pick them up. I've never bought Asos jeans before, but I am impressed, I have to say. I can't deal with high waisted jeans that are constantly slipping down, and these are the kinda of ones that will actually stay put. They actually fit me as well. Jeans that fit me round my legs are usually too big round my waist, but these fit perfectly - I was shocked. It's a yes from me. The jeans chain is just a cheap one I found on eBay, but it looks pretty bad ass with the black jeans.

My latest jumper purchase is this fluffy hug of a jumper, also from Asos (surprise). I know some people don't understand cropped jumpers, but I think they look sick, especially layered over mesh. And honestly, this is one of the warmest jumpers I've ever put on, so I forget that my belly is on show anyway!

How I Style Chunky Unif Boots | Sequins and Mesh

Sequin Playsuit - Motel via Depop
Mesh Body - Missguided
Chunky Boots - Unif via Depop

Featuring yet another bargain of a Depop find in this post - my sequin Motel playsuit. I found this baby NEW WITH TAGS for 12 quid a couple of months ago. 12 quid!!?? Crazy cheap, bearing in mind what Motel charge for their sequin pieces. If you didn't catch my last post, my other bargain Depop find was these super chunky Unif boots. They're in good enough condition to be new, and I managed to snap them up for half of what Unif would have charged me. They go hand in hand with the mesh body/sequin playsuit combo, adding all the grunge vibes.

How I style Chunky Unif Boots | Jeans and Tee

london street style, uk fashion blogger, grunge outfit ideas, grunge outfits, grunge blogger, uk fashion blogger, street style blogger, london fashion blogger
london street style, uk fashion blogger, grunge outfit ideas, grunge outfits, grunge blogger, uk fashion blogger, street style blogger, london fashion blogger

Super Chunky Unif Boots - Depop
Ripped Sequin Mom Jeans - Liquor N Poker (old)
Tee - Missguided (old)
Mesh Bodysuit - Missguided

I have possibly the most exciting news ever. I found a pair of the infamous, super chunky Unif boots on Depop. In my size. For £60. They're in pretty much perfect condition and I am in lurvvveee. I've wanted a pair of super chunky stompers for years - emphasis on the years. The only prob was that the only shops I could find that sold boots this chunky, also charged over £100 for them. I could never really justify spending that much on shoes. Then I spotted these beauts on Depop last weekend, and you can understand why I had to buy them straight away. The girl was selling them for like half the price they would be new, AND JUST LOOK AT THEM. PERFECTION.

They instantly change the dynamic of any outfit. I mean in this outfit, I'm layering up a mesh body underneath a super cropped tee (ok, it's makeshift cropped, I tied it myself, but it still counts right?), two trends I'm loving right now. Those pieces paired with my beloved ripped sequin jeans makes a pretty bad ass outfit, but the boots just complete it. If I didn't have the stompers, I probably would have just picked my Old Skool Vans, which I love, but wouldn't have looked half as good.

So today's advice - if you really want a piece of clothing or some shoes you can't afford, have a look through Depop and eBay. You never know, you might find yourself a bargain!
