Vintage Moschino

Denim Jacket - Vintage Moschino
Fluffy Cropped Jumper - Asos (old)
Vinyl Trousers - Topshop (no longer on site)
Belt - AOC Edit

So, my aunt has lent me this amazing vintage Moschino jacket, and I literally couldn't wait to style it up. I decided to pair it with my new fave vinyl trousers, and a fluffy cropped jumper. The jacket is quite thick and padded, so that along with my warm fluffy jumper meant I was just about warm enough for a few hours in Greenwich.

How I Wear Vinyl Trousers

Aviator Jacket - Primark
Slogan Tee - Nasty Gal (no longer on site)

I've wanted some vinyl trousers for a while now, but the issue I have with them is most pairs just don't look good on me. I swear they are designed for people with really slim legs, legs I do not have. They sit in all the wrong places and just don't look flattering at all. I know my legs aren't massive or anything, but I do have the constant issue of jeans either being too tight round my thighs or too big round my waist. Such an inconvenience. I digress. Anyway, I found a way I can get away with wearing my long sought after vinyl trousers (woohoo); I tried them on in a size up. Yep, they're massive round my waist, but that ain't nothing I'm not used to, and nothing a belt can't sort out.

Leopard and Velvet

Boots - Unif via Depop

It's a sad day when the zip on your Unif boots breaks, and today was that day for me. I neeeed to try and find somewhere that will fix it (is there even places that will do that???), cos these boots weren't cheap, even if I did find them secondhand off Depop.

Now over to pieces in this outfit that didn't decide to misbehave and break; I picked up a new jumpsuit and aviator jacket from Look Of The Day with full intentions of wearing them together, and I'm loving the outcome. I'm not really a wearer of leopard print, but coats is where I will make the exception. I have the standard faux fur leopard coat, which I looovveeee (even though I haven't yet worn this winter, what is this), and I couldn't resist this leopard faux fur lined aviator jacket. Considering how much I love my all black Primark version, I knew I would get a lot of wear out of this. And how good does my pink hair look against the leopard?

2005 Emo

Checkerboard Trousers - Nasty Gal (no longer available)
Fluffy Cropped Jumper - Asos (old)

I love these trousers, but I feel they give my outfits that '2005 emo' vibe, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Tbf, I'm probably not helping myself out with the double jeans chain either, but I like them so there ya go. I'm hoping fluffy cropped jumper helps defer away from from the emo-esque bottom half of this outfit.

The Leopard Aviator Jacket

Top - The Ragged Priest
Jeans - Asos Farleigh
Belt - AOC Edit

I recently got my hands on this badass faux fur/faux leather aviator jacket from Look Of The Day, and to say I love it would be an understatement. I already have an all black faux suede aviator jacket from Primark (see this post), and even though I literally love it, it's just like your bog standard one you can pick up from anywhere on the high street. This baby has got a little somethin' somethin'. I couldn't wait to style it up, and it came with me on my trip to Dublin last weekend (where these photos were shot). I've gone pretty casj with this outfit; jeans, tee and vans, but I will be styling it up for a night out very very soon, so watch this space for a post alllll about that!

Once again styling up double black denim, this time I've swapped the dress out for a skirt (see the previous post here). I feel like I've gone all out with the grunge-vibes with this outfit; checkerboard top, oversized black denim, fishnets, layered mesh, and to top it all off - a jeans chain on my skirt.

Checkerboard

Aviator Jacket - Primark
Boots - Unif via Depop

Coming at ya again with my Stranger Things tee (see previous post here), this time going for a slightly ‘emo-esque’ outfit. Tbh, I’m not sure how I feel out this one. I don’t know if the checkerboard trousers paired with the tee/long sleeve mesh top combo is a bit too much. What do you think?

Denim on Denim

*Denim Jacket - Liquor N Poker (no longer on site)
Belt - AOC Edit
Boots - Unif via Depop

Today’s post is gonna be short and sweet cos I’m having a serious case of writers block. I’m bringing back denim on denim in this outfit, featuring a vintage style *denim dress from Joanie, and my badass oversized Liquor N Poker *denim jacket. Wearing black denim is definitely a good way to go if you want to dip your toes into the world of double denim, but don’t want to go all out, as it’s a lot more subtler than blue.

Thoughts on double denim?

Mesh N Vinyl

Skirt - Primark

How bloody cold is it though!?!? It’s like it’s suddenly dropped 100 degrees over night and I am totally not okay with this. Honestly, I really don’t understand people who actually like Autumn/Winter; the cold is just horrendous. One of the only up sides is that I can whack out all of my funky faux fur coats. I was suppose to wearing my bright pink Asos baby with this outfit, however my brain clearly wasn’t functioning properly and I forgot to take it with me. Damn. Faux fur is not going amiss in this outfit though, as I did manage to remember my furry Koko Couture bag.

French Fries

Vinyl Skirt - Primark
Belt - AOC Edit
Aviator Jacket - Primark
Chunky Brogues - Pull and Bear

This vinyl skirt I picked up from Primark is definitely my most worn at the mo. I couldn’t resist pairing my new Joanie French Fries top with it, and rather tucking it in all the way round, just tucking the front in to have my groovy studded belt on show. I’m not really a wearer of stripes if I’m being honest. I know everyone is like obsessed, but I’m part of the very tiny minority who don’t actually like ‘em that much. However, this particular stripey top has a surprise; a French Fries patch sewn on. Now, this is a stripey top I can get in board with.

Boots - Unif via Depop

I’ve gotta say, this outfit is by far the best outfit (IMO) I’ve had on the blog in a long time. Monochrome with a pop of colour never fails to look good. For me, that colour is rarely red, and in all honesty, I wasn’t sold on the red trend at first. However, times change, minds change, and cosy af teddy sweaters come into lives. I couldn’t resist buying this jumper; it’s the softest, warmest thing and is going to do me a treat in the Arctic winter conditions.

The checkerboard trousers are a very new purchase, and my first off Nasty Gal. Tbh, they’re really not the best quality, but I’d been looking for a pair exactly like this for AGES, and these are the first I’ve come across. The other ones I’ve seen are all baggy, and I’m not all about that. At the risk of them ripping whilst sitting down, I'm keeping them. I also picked up a couple of sassy slogan tees (see them on my Insta), and they are much better quality. I feel like Nasty Gal is very hit and miss, just like Boohoo.
